Payment:

Tanzania 2012 & 2013: The tuition fee for the excursions is Euro 4.190,-. A deposit of Euro 1.800,- is paid at registration. The final payment of Euro 2.390,- (plus Euro 500,- single supplement if requested) is due 4 weeks prior to the start of the course

Uganda 2012 & 2013: The tuition fee for the excursions is Euro 3.990,-. A deposit of Euro 1.800,- is paid at registration. The final payment of Euro 2.190,- (plus Euro 500,- single supplement if requested) is due 4 weeks prior to the start of the course.

All payments can be made by to contact@tropmedex.com or by Swift Telex (see registration).

Cancellation of the participant:

The deposit, once received, is non-refundable. In case of cancellation by an enrolled participant the deposit will be credited towards a future expedition. If the participant withdraws after having paid the final balance, the money will be forfeited if no substitute can be found. Please inform Kay Schaefer, (info@tropmedex.com) as soon as possible, if you cancel the expedition.

Conditions of TROPMEDEX:

The participant agrees that TROPMEDEX shall not be or become liable or responsible for any loss, accident, injury, sickness, disease, death or damage to person, property or otherwise in connection with any accommodation, transportation, or other services, resulting directly or indirectly from any acts, events or circumstances which are beyond TROPMEDEX control including acts of God, fire, breakdown in transport, machinery or equipment, acts of government or other authorities, de jure or de facto, wars whether declared or not, hostilities, civil disturbances, strikes, riots, terrorism, unpredictable weather conditions, thefts, epidemics, medical or customs regulations, defaults, delays beyond our control or refusal of a travel visa to any individual by any embassy or consulate. TROPMEDEX can make changes in the itinerary, whenever in their sole judgement conditions warrant, or if they deem it necessary for the comfort, convenience or safety of the participants. TROPMEDEX can refuse to accept or retain any person as a member of an expedition at any time if he/she disturbs the program. The participant is responsible for the international transport to and from East Africa. Competency of court is in Cologne, Germany.

Cancellation of TROPMEDEX:

  1. If less than 9 participants have registered up to 4 weeks prior to the start of the course. In that case TROPMEDEX must inform the participant immediately. The deposit and final payment (if already transacted) will be reimbursed as soon as possible.

  2. If the course supervisor is unavailable (sudden illness/accident) and no substitute can be found in the meantime. In that case TROPMEDEX must inform the participant immediately about the cancellation of the expedition. The deposit and final payment (if already transacted) will be reimbursed as soon as possible.

  3. If conditions (stated above) jeopardize the realization of the expedition. In that case TROPMEDEX must inform the participant immediately about the cancellation of the expedition. TROPMEDEX can deduct a compensation for the preparation of the expedition from the reimbursed deposit and final payment (if already transacted).
